Abatement Work covered under Base Bid shall be the complete removal of existing ACM plaster ceilings and all associated items attached to the ceilings throughout the locker rooms, shower rooms, and coaches’ offices.
General Work covered under Base Bid shall include the demolition of existing 2x4 ACT ceiling, lighting fixtures, cutting of new roof penetrations for new rooftop units and ductwork, and removing unit ventilators in the areas shown in the Construction Documents.
New work includes the installation of a new 2x2 ACT ceilings, LED light fixtures, structural steel reinforcing, roof curbs and rooftop units, roof patching, roof mounted condensing units, new gypsum ceiling in locker room areas, new gas piping, glazing replacement, floor patching, and interior and exterior painting. Corresponding Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Systems will also be included. General Work covered under Alternate Bid #1 shall be all work associated with the elementary gymnasium which include, but is not limited to, the completed replacement of the existing ground mounted mechanical units, ductwork, and lighting.
