Job Description	Generally, the project consists of the modification of the existing Ag Shop at McCracken County High School to accommodate a Welding Program. New Welding booths and fume extraction fans are to be installed into the space. Existing lighting shall be removed and new lighting installed, electrical circuits and busway shall be removed and new electrical transformers and panels installed to serve new welding equipment. Major divisions of work include but are not limited to: demolition; HVAC; and electrical.
Job Purchase Information	Hard Copies of the documents will be available Wednesday, April 22. 2026, and may be obtained at Paducah Blueprint by depositing $100.00 (per complete set) made payable to Paducah Blueprint. The deposit will be refunded for the return of complete sets (in usable condition) within fourteen (14) days after the bid opening. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE AFTER THE FOURTEEN (14) DAY RETURN PERIOD. Electronic files are available for a Nonrefundable fee of $30.00 Payable to Paducah Blueprint
Memo Notes	A Pre-Bid meeting will be held at the McCracken County Board of Education on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 10:00AM. Addendum 1-The location of the pre-bid meeting shall be changed to McCracken County High School. Bidders shall park at the back of the high school adjacent to the greenhouses. Owner will grant bidders access to the existing Ag Lab for Pre-Bid. Sealed bids will be received at 11:00 AM CST, Tuesday, May 6th, 2026, in the Large Conference Room at the McCracken County Board of Education, 300 Cumberland Ave, Paducah, Kentucky, at which time and placed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
