Work under base bid to include the complete renovation of the existing Home Economics lab, including but not limited to the abatement of asbestos containing floor tile via heat method, removal of existing furniture, casework, floor finish, wall construction, doors and associated hardware, plumbing fixtures, appliances, unit heaters, boiler piping, and electrical wiring, and saw cutting of existing concrete subfloor. New work to include the installation of new in-slab plumbing, electrical wiring, exhaust hoods, floor finish, wall construction, doors and associated hardware, casework, appliances, plumbing fixtures, thru-roof plumbing vents, and furniture. Work under alternate bids to include the abatement of existing asbestos floor tile via heat method, removal of existing doors and associated hardware, and one railing, as well as provision of new floor finish, expansion joints, railings, doors and associated hardware, and door access controls and associated electrical components.
